The fifth assessment report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change makes clear that climate change will affect Australia significantly in the decades ahead. Consequences of climate change include sea level rise, increased severity of severe weather and more frequent heat waves. Engineering is the key to many adaptation measures society will need to implement. This seminar will examine the role of engineering in climate change adaptation.
