Event Details:

Is the Copenhagen Accord worth anything? Will countries now commit to specific targets and real action that can avoid global temperature rising more than 2 degrees Celsius, and will a legally binding treaty be a reality later in the year?

With nearly 1 degree C increase in temperature across Australia over the last decade, we are well on our way to being one of the countries to be hardest hit by climate change in the world. Do we want a land constantly ravaged by drought, fire, dust storms, flood, cyclones and storms?   Or can we harness the opportunity and build a robust green economy?

Apart from the Government representatives in Copenhagen, there were close to 50,000 members of civil society. There were over 1000 side events and exhibitions presenting the latest thought leadership on topics from measuring wellness to rebuilding our “commons”, and of course, market and financial solutions a plenty....

David Hood was there and was not happy. Come and hear David’s thoughts on the outcome, and some of the more positive things coming from  COP15, and what it all means to you, your business and community.

More information on the flyer.
