Guyana is receiving millions of The REDD+ Environmental Excellence Standard (TREES) credits from the Architecture for REDD+ Transactions (ART), becoming the first jurisdiction to earn REDD+ credits and first ever recipient of TREES units, according to a press release Thursday.
