Recent changes impacting on anyone undertaking an Environmentally Relevant Activity
On 1 January 2009 the single most far reaching changes to environmental management legislation in Queensland came into effect. The changes will affect the licensing and operation of every environmentally relevant activity (ERA) in Queensland. All consultants and managers or operators of ERAs in Queensland need to be aware of the changes and how they will affect their business interests.
This technical session will give participants a brief overview of the recent changes to the Environmental Protection Act 1994 and the new Environmental Protection Regulation 2008.
