On 29 February, 2012, the Australian Green Infrastructure Council (AGIC) launched the Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) rating scheme to deliver social, economic and environmental improvements across the design, construction and operation of Australia’s infrastructure. In order to guide infrastructure stakeholders (involved in investment, planning, procurement, design, construction and operations) on the use of the tool, the IS Foundation Training Course has been developed and AGIC is pleased to announce the first round of training courses. On successful completion of this course, participants will develop a good understanding of the IS rating scheme and will be able to assess projects or assets using the IS rating tool.
